The Olympic Dam Aboriginal Community Trust (the Trust) was established as part of an agreement between BHP Billiton and the Barngarla, Kokatha and Kuyani Aboriginal groups regarding the proposed expansion of Olympic Dam. The Trust is a “Charitable Trust’ which means funds can only ever be applied for a specific list of charitable purposes.

The Kokatha Charitable Trust was established to hold funds received from the Commonwealth Department of Defence as compensation for the activities proposed to be undertaken on the expanded Cultana Training Area. The trustee for the Kokatha Charitable Trust is Kokatha Holdings Pty Ltd (“the Trustee’).
